Conference Description

The NEA ESP conference is the premier professional development opportunity for Education Support Professionals across the nation. The goal of the conference is to grow and strengthen the professional excellence of ESP members working in Pre-K to Higher-Ed through Association-convened, educator-led, and student-centered learning experiences. With more than 60 interactive workshops to choose from over the course of four days, participants will enhance their knowledge and skills to build community relationships, organize members, advocate for educators, and sustain stronger local associations, helping members excel in their careers and positively impact student success. 

This year's conference theme is Education Support Professionals: Uniting Our Members and the Nation for Strong Communities, Empowered Educators, and Successful Students.

How To Register

Online Registration

  • Online registration for the 2019 NEA ESP Conference is now open. February 8, 2019 is the last day to regsiter online.

On-site Registration

  • On-site registration will be made available for all participants until full capacity is reached.
  • Personal checks will NOT be accepted on-site.
  • Pre-conference workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis. Some pre-conference workshops may be filled to capacity at the time of on-site registration and will not be available.


  • Registration is accepted on a full-payment, first-come, first-served basis only.
  • Personal checks will not be accepted as a form of payment.

Registration Fees and Refunds

NEA ESP Conference registration fees are as follows:

NEA Member Pre-Conference Participant Registrants (Thursday-Sunday): $250

  • Includes breakfast and lunch during pre-conference session days
  • Includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday, awards dinner on Saturday, and breakfast and brunch on Sunday.
  • Pre-Conference workshop opportunities are offered in topics ranging from social justice, organizing, and leadership development to behavior management and adverse childhood experiences.

NEA Member Conference Participant Registrants (Friday-Sunday): $200

  • Includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday, dinner and entertainment on Saturday, and breakfast and brunch on Sunday.

Exhibitor Opportunities: $750

  • Includes booth space from Thursday - Saturday of the conference, all provided conference meals for one person each day.
  • Registration for all exhibitor opportunities are available through online conference registration.
  • Approved exhibitors will receive a unique link to register for the 2018 NEA ESP Conference beginning December 1.

NOTE: Personal checks will not be accepted as a form of payment.

As a reminder, pre-conference spots are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Don’t miss reserving your spot! 


The deadline to request a 100 percent refund of registration fees is two weeks after online registration closes. Registrants will be eligible to receive a 50 percent refund during the third week after online registration closes. Thereafter, conference registration will be non-refundable.


Registration Confirmation

CVent, NEA's online conference registration system, will automatically generate a confirmation number upon completion of your registration. This confirmation number can be found in your confirmation email once you have submitted your registration, as well as in the confirmation page that will appear immediately after submitting your registration. Confirmation numbers are required to make future changes to registration accounts. Please be sure to keep this confirmation number for your records. 


First Timers Session

The NEA ESP Quality Department in the Center for Great Public Schools welcomes all first timer registrants to the NEA ESP Conference! We are confident that our workshops will enable you to add essential career skills to your professional development tool box. The NEA ESP Conference provides first timers with a special First Timers Session, held Friday afternoon of each conference weekend. This session is designed to acclimate first time attendees with the NEA structure, conference structure and networking opportunities. Pre-registration is required once conference registration opens.

Room Rates

The conference hotel rooming rate is $140 plus tax per night for the nights of March 21-25, for both single and double occupancy rooms. Rooming rate for nights of March 16-20 is $89 plus tax for both single and double occupancy rooms. Additional hotel information and a direct link to reserve your hotel room via the conference rate will be made available once registration opens.

NOTE: Attendees fully funded by NEA to attend the conference should NOT make their own hotel reservations. Fully funded attendees will be added to the NEA hotel direct bill list via NEA's internal conference registration process. NEA will not reimburse fully funded attendees for independently reserved hotel rooms.

Hotel Accomodations

Please be sure to read the NOTE above before proceeding. Hotel accomodations can be reserved using the following methods:

  • Online: Participants can make reservations online by using the special Bally's Las Vegas Hotel ESP Conference reservation link. Click here to begin making your reservations.
  • By Phone: Participants should call the Bally's Las Vegas Hotel Reservation Center at 702-967-4111 or toll free at 1-800-722-5597.  Refer to the conference group name NEA ESP 2019 to obtain the conference rate. 

Airport Taxi and Shuttle Services

Transportation from the airport to the hotel will run approximately $12-$17 depending on whether you take a public taxi or mobile app form of transportation (i.e. Uber, Lyft).

In an effort to reduce transportation costs, we encourage participants to reserve shuttle services ahead of time or to make arrangements to carpool with colleagues to and from the airport for all conference locations.

The 2019 NEA ESP Conference Call for Proposals Form is now CLOSED. The submission deadline was October 19, 2018. Trainers will be notified of their proposal acceptance status by November 26, 2018.
